Achieving and attaining balance in one's life is a theme recurring across many religions. In this piece, the artist explores diferent forms of balance, from mere symmetries, to the paradoxical dichotomies of animal and man, light and dark, crafted and natural, even of sight and blindness. The artist tries to demonstrate that mere paradox is no reason why each cannot be equally valid simultaneously.
Using a simple point-and-shoot camera and Photoshop, the artist creates the illusion of miniature, or the tilt-shift effect.
Combining both a graphic logo and a lettermark, the artists has designed a set of business cards and a header for the site of a mask-maker in San Francisco.
Here the designer has crafted a poster illustrating the uses of the Bodoni typeface, as well as information about its creator, Giambattista Bodoni.
Another typographical exploration, this piece depicts the Phœnician letter "Tsade", and some accompanying historical and philosophical information regarding its origins, meaning, and uses.
